Needle felted Corriedale wool. SOLD I was asked to create a piece to go on display in our church on Easter Sunday. Many thoughts crossed my mind but none captured the essence of new life and growth that I wanted to convey. The egg, symbolic of Easter, represented new beginnings and the plant not just new life but new growth. I combined these two and then added the hands to symbolise that each one of us holds this opportunity in our hands, we just have to reach out and grasp it.
